You don't actually need to feed your Twin, but you do need to take care of it. In order to keep a Twin looking like brand new it's really important to keep it in an environment where it won't be damaged. 3D printed figurines and glass 3D Crystals are meant for display purposes only. While it's fine to pass them around at gatherings occasionally, they really should stay on a shelf or in a glass display case (bell jars work great). When you're deciding where to display them, you'll want to avoid the following things. Click on each of the "plus" symbols for more information.
1. Direct sunlight or super bright electric spotlights
If your 3D printed figurine is placed in direct sunlight or directly under a super bright electric spotlight, the color on it will fade over time. The colors may start to look washed out. The heat of a super bright spotlight may cause a glass 3D Crystal to crack.
2. Drops
Be careful with when handling your Twin. Don't drop it. If you drop a Twin, it'll almost certainly break. A 3D figurine sometimes can be repaired with Super Glue® or Krazy Glue®, but there may be times when it will be damaged beyond repair. A cracked, chipped or broken glass 3D Crystal cannot be repaired.
3. Water and high humidity
Your 3D Twin figurine is much like a photograph—it can be damaged if it gets wet or is exposed to high humidity. A glass 3D Crystal may develop water spots if it gets wet. To preserve 3D color figurines, spray them with the following to help preserve them. You still can't safely take your figurine swimming with you, but it will help. This preservative is available at large discount stores and at local art supply stores. When applying it, make sure that you go slowly so that it doesn't form drips and blobs on your Twin. A glass 3D Crystal, of course, doesn't need this preservative.
